Ichimatsu-an's check-in and check-out procedures are very simple. You receive and return the keys directly at Ichimatsu-an, you do not need to come to our Check-in Counter Office. Further information will be sent by email after confirmation of your reservation.
One of Kyoto’s summer traditions is to eat in a Noryo-Yuka (a wooden terrace restaurant) while enjoying the view of Kamo River. Situated near the station Shiyakusho-Mae, Pontocho and Kiyamachi Streets will also offer you a beautiful night view with their lanterns and old wooden buildings. We also recommend the Nijo Castle and Keage Incline, an defunct railway track lined by cherry trees.
The out of downtown location allows to offer a stay in a traditional Kyo-machiya townhouse at affordable prices.
The area is well served by public transport allowing to go easily to Kyoto's main sightseeing spots. You can also go directly to Ichimatsu-an from Kyoto Station by bus.
